As pilot season is nearing, it will be my first time taking part!! Excited but, is it extremely rare to get auditions for tv shows without an agent? I heard that you can only get access to submit to major shows (Actors Access)if you are represented. Is this true?

I’ve been reading a lot about levels in acting. Lower level managers and agents, upper level actors, etc., and I’m curious what people mean. Are there stages of being an actor and what are they? And how do you go from one level to another and can you expect upward movement just by being in the game or is this just luck…

We're looking for around 13 voice actors, each to record around 80 words plus 20 short emotional sounds (gasps, groans, "hmm", "tsk" etc) to be used in an, indie video game. All voices are adult (between the ages of 20 and 40) and all will be spoken in English. Specifically we're seeking female actors native to England…

I’m an aspiring actress, and I am trying to get my first headshot done. In my city there is a very reputable lady whose work is amazing but around 550$. Question about paying voice actors! I’m in the very very early stages of developing an indie game all by myself — I’m not putting any money into this because I’m broke and I’ll be doing all the writing, art, and coding by myself. The only thing is, I most definitely can’t do voice acting for 17 different characters by…
