Hello everyone! I'm a somewhat experienced actor, but not on the professional level. I've been in quite a few lower-level productions, but nothing like this one. How does this type of thing work? Can someone break down this webpage for me so I can understand what they're talking about? [https://playbill.com/job/theater…

Hey guys. I've been going through a bit of a patch lately mainly doing jobs I don't like, like retail for about 8 years and I'm 28 and feel I need to do something I could enjoy. Now growing up, I played a lot of games and considered VO, but cause of my stutter, I abandoned the idea and keep with retail. Now it's a lot…

It’s been a long time since I acted because I was depressed for the better part of this year but this month I finally got back into it! However, with COVID19 happening I feel it’s selfish and irresponsible to make a trip 3 hours away with 13 other people when I work and live with the elderly. My teacher basically told…

From what I can gather from pro voice actors websites, most of them have multiple demos, one demo for commercials, one for animation, one for elearning, one for trailers/promos, etc. Down the road I'll plan on getting multiple ones but which is advised to focus on FIRST? In my head I'm thinking a commercial demo (selli…
