I am by no means a voice actor. However i do like to make funny voices or just change my voice in general to make a joke or when me and my friends are playing a roleplaying game. I am having trouble with deeper voices as they can make me gag and even sometimes

Quick background - I am a very novice actor with representation from two agencies in the midwest/northeast markets. I am primarily pursuing lifestyle modeling at this point but am still interested in day player and principal acting roles if they come around. One of my agencies is collecting one minute monologues to sub…

I'm in the production, but don't benefit directly from views. It's a fan-made season 2 of ITV's 'Sanditon', and while I'm promoting it elsewhere for its own sake, I thought you might like it here as an example of some amateur dramatics done despite the hurdles of remote working! Also the actor playing Charlotte is a ge…

So far I'm a dry child actor. I've been in about 5 musicals, a web video and an advert. To enhance my skills, I joined my lower school choir for about 4 years and have performed on many concerts, live audiences and even a music video. I've done voice over like ONCE (remember that web video). I was doing another project…

Hi! I'm a 14 year old who has always loved acting. For a long time(until I was 12), I lived in a small town that was as far as you could get from Hollywood. I've always dreamed of acting professionally. I've been the lead in school plays and musicals, but I've never done anything professional. I'm going into high schoo…

Hey fellow actors and actresses! I’ve been in love with this art since I was a kid. Community theater, musicals, show choir, play for the parents - the works throughout the years. I took an acting class in college and some others here and there. I’ve been with a talent agency for about 6 years. I’ve gotten small backgr…

Hey everyone. English isn't my first language and I have a pretty rough accent. I want to learn how to voice act but I'm not sure if I'll be able to do that without showing my rough accent. Putting aside accent specific roles for a sec, do you think you can become a voice actor even if you don't have a standard, clear…

I'm on the midst of posting a really goofy meme and I need one or two voice actors to voice Garfield and Jon. The line for Garfield is only one word "Lasagna?!". I'm looking for someone who can voice like how Lorenzo Music voiced Garfield. There are two short lines for Jon Arbuckle. I'm also looking for someone who can…

I was wondering if anyone knew of sites that allowed you to post job listings for free. I'm currently looking for an actor to take part in a short YT video that can be done online (paid). The gig is incredibly easy and should take less then 30 minutes. I'm not really interested in purchasing a membership as I just need…

Hi! I am currently an actress based out of Canada and have been having a hard time getting an agent. The reason for this, I think, is because I am not willing to act in scenes that require nudity, sex, or kissing. I usually tell agents this during our first meeting and as a result that is very hesitant to sign me and I…

So, I’m in a weird position—I’m in a top MFA program for Acting and I think I’m a very good actor. I’ve done podcasts and audio projects and have made an animation demo—I’ve figured out how to translate my acting skills to an audio medium. I feel like I’ve done all the things you’re “supposed” to do to have a career in…

I’m doing a project for a psychology class in school and I’m looking for a male voice capable of pulling off a New York/Brooklyn and a standard Southern accent. I am trying to research grad school programs (specifically, MFAs in Acting), but when I speak to other actors the only input anyone has seems to be, "Well, don't get a Masters unless you want to teach.
